Gas work is not a job for guesswork
Gas piping has to be the right size for the appliance load, supported and protected properly, pressure tested, and inspected where the code requires it. Bitas Plumbing is licensed for gas fitting and does this work as part of plumbing and heating projects, or on its own.
That covers running a new gas line to a range or dryer, piping in a boiler or water heater, feeding a standby generator, and correcting gas piping that was never done properly in the first place.

If you smell gas, do this first
Gas safety comes before everything else, including calling us:
- Leave the building straight away, and do not use light switches or your phone inside
- Do not light anything, and do not try to find the leak yourself
- From outside, call 911 and your gas utility's emergency line
- Do not go back inside until the utility says it is safe
- Once the property is safe, call us to repair or replace the gas piping

Common questions
Can you run a gas line for a new range or dryer?
Yes. We run the gas piping, size it for the appliance, fit the shut-off and connector, pressure test it and arrange inspection where required.
Do gas jobs need a permit?
Gas piping work generally requires a permit and inspection. We tell you up front when it does and take care of the paperwork. It also protects you if you ever sell the property.
Can you connect a standby generator?
We handle the gas supply side: the piping, sizing and shut-off. The electrical connection is done by a licensed electrician, and we coordinate with them.
I think my old gas piping was done badly. Can you check it?
Yes. We can inspect existing gas piping for sizing, support, unapproved materials and leaks, and tell you what needs correcting.
