Signs your heating system needs attention
Most boiler failures give warning before they stop completely:

Common questions
My boiler has stopped and I have no heat. How fast can you come?
Call (617) 771-9820. We answer 24/7 and treat no heat as an emergency, particularly in freezing weather. We will give you a realistic arrival window on the phone.
Should I repair or replace my boiler?
It depends on age, efficiency and what has failed. A control or circulator on an otherwise sound boiler is worth repairing. A cracked heat exchanger on a twenty-year-old unit is not. We will show you what we found and explain both options.
Do you install high-efficiency condensing boilers?
Yes, along with the venting, condensate drainage and near-boiler piping they require. A high-efficiency boiler installed on poor piping will not deliver the efficiency you paid for.
Can you add a zone to my existing heating system?
Usually yes, for a finished basement, an addition or a room that has never heated properly. We check the existing boiler has the capacity before adding load to it.
