SMS Terms & Conditions
How text messaging works if you choose to opt in.

These terms cover text (SMS) messages sent by Bitas Plumbing, Lowell, Massachusetts.
Consent is optional and opt-in
Bitas Plumbing only sends text messages to customers who have explicitly opted in. On our request form, SMS consent is a separate, unchecked box that appears only when you give us a phone number. You can submit the form, get a quote and have work done without ever agreeing to text messages, and we will simply call or email you instead.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of any service from Bitas Plumbing.
What messages you will receive
If you opt in, messages relate to your enquiry and your job: confirming appointments, letting you know when we are on the way, asking a question about the work, and following up afterwards. These are service messages, not marketing campaigns.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies depending on your job. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Bitas Plumbing does not charge you for the messages.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts after that. You can opt back in at any time by replying START or by telling us.

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, so we will never rely on a text alone for anything urgent.
Privacy
Phone numbers and SMS consent records are used only so that Bitas Plumbing can contact you about your enquiry and your work. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties for their marketing purposes. Our job management system, Capoflow, processes this information on our behalf in order to deliver the messages. See our Privacy Policy for more.
